Zamora, who scored 70 goals in just 117 League starts for Brighton, completed a £1.5million move to the Lane on Friday afternoon.
"I am overjoyed," he told Sky Sports News. It has been a long time coming and I really wanted to sign for Tottenham.
"I am just delighted to put pen to paper. I have to work hard and learn and hopefully get a few games.
"It is going to be a challenge, I am going to learn, especially playing with the calibre of players here.
"The Premiership is the elite and I except every aspect of the game to be harder.
"I look at the van Nistelrooys and Henrys and they are top drawer - you can look at them and learn, everyone can improve and I am looking to do that.
"It is an exciting time for me."
