From The Daily Telegraph: The FA will write to Tottenham and West Ham to ask for their observations after some visiting fans allegedly abused Tottenham's Egyptian striker, Mido, during the 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane on Sunday. A report from observers at the match has already been received and an FA spokesman said: "We want to build up a complete picture of events and how disturbing they might have been. We need to see what the clubs have to say about them."
Meanwhile, the longest-running disciplinary case in FA history is still grinding towards a conclusion, 14 months after the original incident. Chelsea and West Ham have already been found guilty by an independent disciplinary commission on charges relating to the behaviour of both sets of fans when the teams met in the Carling Cup in October 2004.
