He is French speaking and fluent in English and Spanish, 33 years of age and is married with two children.

Comolli was a youth team player at Monaco for three seasons before he opted to study for his French coaching licence in Nice. He then went on to become Under-16s coach at Monaco for three seasons while Arsene Wenger was at the club.
