Wary of Watford

Paul Stalteri suffered a slight knee injury against MK Dons on Wednesday night.

Tottenham assistant coach Chris Hughton, said: "Watford have given a good account of themselves since their introduction back into Premiership football even though they have yet to take three points from a game. Their manager, Adrian Boothroyd, was on television after the game at Charlton and rightly pointed out that no team has inflicted a really heavy defeat on them where they have not competed in the game."

"Even in the Arsenal game - where they lost 3-0 - there were good chances. What Adrian has done is get the best out of the players he's got. He didn't invest heavily in summer and has given an opportunity to the lads already at the club. He would have been quite happy with how his team has played because the quality of play and commitment has been there."

"Watford's strength last season was a good fitness level, playing fairly direct and being organised and disciplined at set plays. That bought them success. I don't think many people would have predicted such a quick promotion for Watford when Adrian took over but they deserved their promotion and have shown up well so far."

"I think it was a wise move to bring in my old manager Keith Burkinshaw when Adrian was new to management - although he has clearly taken to it very, very well."

"Ashley Young was involved with the England Under-21s recently, while Marlon King missed the game last week but has caught the eye this season."

Mido, who scored the winner against West Ham on Sunday, said: "Watford gave Manchester United a hard time."
