Vedran Corluka will face up to one month on the sidelines after Mathieu Flamini's rash challenge at the San Siro.
The Spurs defender left the pitch on a stretcher when the former Arsenal man flew in with a two-footed lunge in the second half of Tottenham's famous 1-0 win.
Sidelined: the crocked Croatia defender faces four weeks out
Corluka, who missed two months of last season with ankle ligament damage, admitted he feared the worst straight after the challenge, but is now confident he will be out for only four weeks.
'As expected, after the leg cooled everything looks uglier. It's swollen and it really hurts me, even though the doctors assured me that it isn't so bad,' Corluka told Croatian newspaper Sportske Novosti.

'Luckily nothing is broken, but I will still be out for at least four weeks.
'Iwill know for sure how bad it is today (Thursday). When I first saw myankle, I was sure it would be at least two months, but luckily it isnot so bad.'
