Jordan clashed with Gennaro Gattuso, who was later given a four-match ban for head-butting him.
UEFA said in a statement: "The control and disciplinary body has imposed a one-match ban on the Tottenham Hotspur assistant manager Joe Jordan following incidents that took place at the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg against AC Milan in Italy on February 15.
"In Jordan's case, the punishment applies to Tottenham's next game in the competition - the English club's quarter-final first leg on 5/6 April. An appeal can be made."
UEFA's bans for managers and coaches are tougher than the FA's. Before and during the match, Jordan will not be allowed to go in their team's dressing-room, the tunnel, or the technical zone, or on the pitch.
He will also not be allowed to communicate with his team.
