Tottenham have confirmed the signing of midfielder Yves Bissouma from Brighton for £26m.
The Mali international completed his medical examinations on Thursday having been linked with a move away from the AMEX Stadium over the past few seasons.
Aston Villa had previously submitted an offer but Spurs stole ahead and have now completed the deal.
Bissouma becomes Tottenham's third signing of the summer following free transfers for Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.

In a parting statement, Brighton boss Graham Potter believes that this move is an ideal one for Bissouma.
"The transfer is a very good one for the club and player," he said.
"Yves has shown his undoubted ability and been an important player during his time with us.
"Now he has a new challenge with Tottenham, including the opportunity to play Champions League football, and everyone at the club wishes him well."
Bissouma is currently awaiting the outcome of a police investigation into claims of sexual assault. He, along with a man in his forties from Brighton, were arrested in October and Bissouma has since been released under investigation.
