Tottenham have given their clearest indication yet that they expect Luka Modric to remain at White Hart Lane beyond the summer, following the release of their new strips ahead of the 2011/12 campaign.
The decision to include the Croatian in the line-up adds to the widely held belief within the club that Modric will reject?Chelsea's advances, despite exclusively revealing in Sportsmail last week that he wants to quit the North Londoners.
Tottenham have already rejected a ?22m bid from the Blues who are expected to return with a improved offer for the midfielder, as they look to freshen up their own squad in a bid to reclaim the Premier league title after losing out to Manchester United last season.
Indeed, whilst both Manchester clubs have also been monitoring Modric's situation, the Croatian has insisted that he is keen to remain in London leaving Chelsea as the favourites to sign the former Dinamo Zagreb star.
Pictures of Modric alongside fellow midfielders Gareth Bale and Rafael van der vaart were released on the club's official website, with fans able to pre-order the strips from the 20th June.
The new PUMA home kit is a return to the classic lilywhite and blue shirt and will first be worn at White Hart Lane against Everton on 13 August.
The new home strip references theClub's long tradition with a sophisticated reinterpretation of a 'classic'Spurs uniform.
The shirt design echoes PUMA's Speed theme with the cut linesengineered to reflect dynamic movement and enhance player comfort andconfidence, using modern moisture wicking fabrics and construction.
