Although Spurs slipped to fifth place after their game at Liverpool was postponed on Sunday and Manchester City thrashed Blackburn Rovers 4-1, Harry Redknapp's side remain well-placed to win a place in next season's Champions League.
They have not conceded a goal in five matches in all competitions and have scored 26 times in their ten league games at White Hart Lane, including nine against a hapless Wigan Athletic side in November.
They have won seven of those ten matches while Hull have failed to win on the road this term, securing only three points in their ten encounters away from the KC Stadium.
The Tigers have failed to win any of their last seven games in all competitions, although they did show some spirit in their last league clash when they battled back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Bolton Wanderers.
Hull will once again be without Jimmy Bullard who has been sidelined since limping out of last month's 3-0 defeat at Aston Villa, while there remains talk of an exodus of fringe first-team players in January in a bid to improve the club's perilous finances.
Brown will also be without Daniel Cousin and Seyi Olofinjana as they are currently taking part in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Redknapp will be without Aaron Lennon and Benoit Assou-Ekotto who are both struggling to recover from groin problems, while long-term injury victims Jonathan Woodgate (groin) and Carlo Cudicini (broken wrist) remain on the treatment table.
