The Europa League is back and will likely prove as a safe space for Tottenham as they take on Austrian side Wolfsberger AC in the round of 32 this week.
The north London outfit have lost five of their last six games in all competitions, including this past weekend when they were beaten 3-0 by Man City. Due to this poor run of form, Champions League qualification via the Premier League is looking less likely than ever.
As such, winning the Europa League could be Spurs' best chance of making it back into the Champions League - something which Jose Mourinho did at Man Utd.
So what team should Mourinho go with to ensure the win and progression? Lets take a look...
1. Goalkeeper and Defenders
Joe Hart (GK) - Spurs' cup goalkeeper will once again be called upon here, with Lloris needing a rest after some poor performances recently.
Matt Doherty (RB) - The Irishman has struggled to recapture his Wolves form since joining Spurs, but a good performance here could boost his confidence.
Davinson Sanchez (CB) - Scored twice against Everton recently but then struggled against City at the weekend. Could be given another chance to prove his worth.
Japhet Tanganga (CB) - The youngster has impressed under Mourinho for the most part and his versatility means Mourinho has used him at full-back but he has earned a start in his natural position for this one.
Ben Davies (LB) - With Sergio Reguilon out injured, Davies should continue in the left-back position here.
2. Midfielders
Harry Winks (CM) - Winks failed to secure a move away from the club in January, Winks has been very poor when he's played recently - notably during Tottenham's defeat to Everton.
Moussa Sissoko (CM) - The Frenchman has found himself out of the starting lineup recently but is still seen as a key member of Mourinho's side and should start here.
Dele Alli (CAM) - Dele is finally back in the squad and deserves the chance to start and earn some brownie points from the manager too.
3. Forwards
Gareth Bale (RW) - His future at the club is hanging in the balance but Bale will be given a chance to star on Thursday night.
Lucas Moura (LW) - With Heung-min Son set to earn a deserved rest, Lucas Moura will likely start this one.
Carlos Vinicius (ST) - Harry Kane needs a rest, which means Vinicius should start once again. Scored three goals and got three assists in five games in the groups, so will look to continue that form here.
