Team news for Manchester City (h)

Full-backs Pascal Chimbonda and Young-Pyo Lee picked up knocks during the Uefa Cup clash against Anderlecht and face late fitness tests if they are to feature against Manchester City. The injuries add to manager Juande Ramos' already blinding defensive headache and it looks likely that error prone Younes Kaboul will be recalled earlier than the Spaniard would have liked.

Ricardo Rocha (ankle) Anthony Gardner (ankle), Gareth Bale (foot) and Benoit Assou Ekotto (knee) are already missing from the Spurs' defence, whilst Ledley King is way off full match fitness.

For City Michael Johnson and Darius Vassell have both been passed fit. Johnson has abdominal surgery in October, while Vassell has been troubled by a hamstring injury but both will return for the trip to White Hart Lane.
