David Pleat has included youngsters Jonathan Blondel and Mark Yeates to the squad for the Carling Cup clash with West Ham United on Wednesday. Also, into the squad come Chrisitan Ziege and as we reported earlier Paul Konchesky is now eligible to play. Pleat has commented on the fact that with a big game against Bolton to come on Saturday the players would have been involved in three games in six days and may well give as many as four first team regulars a rest.
