There are positives and negatives on the injury front going into tonight's crucial game against Charlton. Mido will miss yet another match this evening having not yet recovered from the Groin strain he suffered against Chelsea last month. Joint Player of the Month Robbie Keane should be fit to take his place next to fellow winner Dimitar Berbatov, who now has two Player of the Month awards to his name this season.
In further team news Martin Jol has Assou Ekotto, Teemu Tainio and Anthony Gardner to choose from, with the trio having recovered from their injuries and passed fit for the game. Unfortunately goalscoring legend Paul Stalteri misses out with medial ligament damage. Improved left-back Lee Young-Pyo is also absent as he is recovering from surgery on his knee.
In other news Jermain Defoe has reiterated his desire to stay at Spurs but it remains to be seen what will happen. Surely a player of his caliber cannot remain satisfied with a place on the bench for too much longer.
