New signing Johnathan Woodgate has gone straight into the squad for the match against Everton tomorrow evening. The news that Woodgate is fit enough to feature will be welcomed by Juande Ramos who has lost Michael Dawson to suspension following his sending off during the 3-1 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday. Dawson will serve just a one match suspension for deliberate handball.
The usual suspects are missing, such as Gareth Bale and Benoit Assou Ekotto, as well as Darren Bent and Paul Stalteri, neither of whom are fit enough to be involved. The club's official website made no mention of Ledley King, and one can only speculate whether the inspirational defender will play any part tomorrow night.
Meanwhile the club have yet to confirm the signature of Alan Hutton but the announcement is believed to be imminent.
