Sven At The Lane.

Defoe promptly took his cue and scored his first Premiership hatrick , Robinson made two saves but could nothing about the goal, Ledley had a solid game but was at fault for the goal(Skied a “Bread & Butter” cross straight up in the air).

This was Spurs easiest game of the Premiership by some distance though, as the Saints are currently a very poor side & Its going to take all of Harry’s wheeler dealer skills to keep them up, so expect to see James Beattie playing for Villa sooner rather than later.

The 5 – 1 score line could have been wider but for a combination of Neimi and a multiple of last ditch tackles, some of which should have received a caution.

Still the majority of the capacity went home more then happy.

All of a sudden you sense that WHL is not such a bad place to be if your names happened to be Scott Parker, Joe Cole, Glen Johnson, Wayne Bridge etc.

You get to play regularly for a team frequently watched by the England manager; it probably boils down to ambition I guess.

I wonder what January will bring?
