Spurs captain Ledley King reflected on the disappointment of north London defeat, then two home wins in quick succession to move the side back up the league table.
He said: "The day after Arsenal we were in and it was the chance for us to reflect on things between ourselves, have a little chat about what happened and what we could do to make things right. Everyone was disappointed with the performance and it was about reacting in the right way. We had two home games that we felt were winnable for us so we set out for six points."
"We were embarrassed by what happened at Arsenal and having the game on the Tuesday gave us the chance to put some things right quickly. We tried to come out all guns blazing against Middlesbrough and we started that game really well. We wanted to do the same against Charlton, although it took us a little while to get our goal, after that we were in control."
