After the reserves' 2-2 draw at Watford, Development coach Clive Allen said: "It was a game where I asked a few questions of the lads - at half-time in particular. I didn't feel we played to our strengths or capabilities in the first half against an experienced side."
"We went behind and then pegged them back, which was good to see, and it was a night where we had to keep going, try to find the style of play we're used to and impose that on the opposition. It wasn't easy to do."
"The second half brought better opportunities, we were behind again before a fantastic equaliser from Andy Barcham. I still felt we were capable of going on and possibly winning the game."
Spurs boss Martin Jol said: "Andy demonstrated his ability with a fine goal after coming back from injury."
Allen added: "We weren't at our best in terms of the way we played, we showed glimpses of our quality, but it was a tough test for us because of the experience of the opposition."
"We went in (at half-time) very disappointed because we felt we could have had one ourselves. What led to theirs was the most annoying because the types of challenges put in were nowhere near what they should have been. The lads were aware that it cost us."
"It made it difficult for us in the second half but the boys had that belief. We came away with a point, we could have got three, but equally we could have come away with nothing.
"It was a hard earned point and a decent result for us."
