Spurs v. just another team (Sat. 1pm)

"We’re building a new team so it’s good that we’re so high in the table. We will have disappointments in the future, but I’m happy with it at the moment," said Spurs Head Coach Martin Jol.

"Arsenal have been better than us but in football history I don't think that's been the case. Spurs were better than them and maybe one day we will be again. Arsenal is different nowadays," he added in The Independent.

"Now it is about finding big players. We have the same set-up as them with young players and we can grow and grow. When (Thierry) Henry gets to 35 and cannot play any more, and Arsenal are looking for a replacement, maybe Tottenham will find him first.

Following a poor start to their league campaign, Arsene Wenger is probably kicking himself that he didn’t step in and sign Jermaine Jenas in the summer as replacement for the departed Patrick Viera. The former Newcastle United midfielder has scored in each of Tottenham’s last two games in the Premiership and JJ is keen to carry on that record when Arsenal visit White Hart Lane for the early kick-off this Saturday.

"It would be great for us to be the dominant north London team. Everyone's talking about the derby. It'll be a great day," said Jenas.
