Tottenham are facing a defensive injury crisis ahead of Saturday's Premier League match against Wigan.Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has only two fit central defenders for the game with the Champions League clash against Real Madrid on Tuesday also looming large.
Jonathan Woodgate and Ledley King have been joined on the sidelines by William Gallas and Younes Kaboul.
"We started the year with six central defenders here, now we have two," Redknapp told Sky Sports News.
However, Redknapp is hopeful Aaron Lennon will be fit for the trip to the DW Stadium.
We are now down to having just Michael Dawson and Sebastien Bassong

Kaboul has been unable to shake off a thigh strain and Gallas is awaiting the results of a scan on a knee injury.
Woodgate, meanwhile, has suffered a setback in his latest comeback from injury, picking up a calf strain in Tuesday's friendly against Barnet.
Redknapp confirmed that King, who has managed just four appearances in the Premier League this season because of injury, will undergo more surgery on his troublesome groin problem.
"We have lost Ledley King, it looks like he will have to have an operation that will finish his season," said the Spurs boss. "We are now down to having just Michael Dawson and Sebastien Bassong [fit to play]."
There was better news on the injury front at White Hart Lane, with the news that Lennon is in contention to play against Wigan.
The winger missed
England's friendly against Ghana
on Tuesday but Redknapp added: "Aaron is OK. He trained this morning. There isn't any problem with him.
"He met up with England and stayed with them for 10 days, felt his hamstring was tight and we didn't want to risk him going so he pulled out of the squad."
Spurs and Wales winger Gareth Bale missed last weekend's 2012 European Championship qualifying tie against England with a hamstring injury is facing a
race against time to be fit
for the Champions League quarter-final first-leg at the Bernabeu.
Redknapp says it is "doubtful" he will take any part against Wigan but will decide as late as possible on his fitness for next Tuesday's match in Spain.
"Gareth worked with the fitness coaches and he looked OK this morning. We are going to leave it late. We'd love to have him fit but if he isn't fit we can't play him," added Redknapp.
