The club have been drawn against Czech side Slavia Prague in the last 32 of the Uefa Cup. The first match will be played in Prague with Spurs having the advantage of a second leg at White Hart Lane.
If we manage to negotiate the tie with Slavia, who dropped out of the Champions League group stages to enter the competition, then we will face either Helsingborg or Dutch side PSV.
Tottenham beat Slavia Prague in the early stages of the competition last year and will be confident of beating a side who bitter rivals Arsenal beat 7-0 earlier this season. The club's sporting director, Damien Comolli, insists, however, that Juande Ramos' side will not take their oponents lightly.
"We played them last year and know how difficult it was, we won there and at home but it was a tough game, especially over there", said Comolli. "I was at the Emirates, I know their qualities and I think they had a bad day".
Meanwhile Bolton Wanderers and Aberdeen face extremely tough ties, facing Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich respectively. The task is slightly more easy for Everton and Glasgow Rangers who face trips to SK Brann and Panathinaikos.
