Spurs Complete Carrick Signing

The 23-year-old midfielder has agreed a four-year deal with Spurs and the deal will go through on Carrick's successful completion of a medical at White Hart Lane.

"Michael is a big English talent and we're very pleased to sign him," said Spurs sporting director Frank Arnesen.

"Technically he is very good, a great passer who can go left or right and we have quality competition for places."
