"Steffen did very well," said match winner Sheringham.
"He looked sharp and enjoyed being back, you could tell that by the way he played. He's very effective. You can't knock the way he plays.
"He covered the ground so quickly, put players off and sometimes you need that in games.
"He did well on the ball as well, kept it ticking over in midfield to make sure that we keep the ball."
