Tottenham forward Roman Pavlyuchenko could well be set for a return to Russia in the January transfer window. Moscow giants Spartak and Lokomotiv are both reportedly lining up bids for Pavlyuchenko who has found himself behind new Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor in the pecking order at White Hart Lane.
It was thought that Pavlyuchenko would leave the club this summer but decided to stay following talks with Harry Redknapp. The Russian had arrived at Tottenham 3 years ago from Spartak who are likely to start the bidding again in the New Year.
The two Russian clubs are likely to bid in excess of ?10million for Pavlyuchenko, it is not yet known if Tottenham will accept anything less then the ?14million they paid for him.
