Robbo still number one

Harsh criticism has been freely dished out at Paul since the unfortunate incident that contributed to England's defeat in Croatia in the autumn.

Robbo has gone 15 games in the league since he last kept a clean sheet, but that's not been helped by the long term injury to Ledley King and a midfield that's often gone missing when the opposition has been in possession.

Jol said: "(More recently) we haven't had the best of spells but he has done unbelievably well for us over the last couple of years."

"(Ben) Foster playing against Spain was good and it was right to give him his chance but it had nothing to do with Robbo because in my mind, without a shadow of a doubt, when he is on top of his game he is the best goalkeeper in England."
