Harry Redknapp has rejected reports that Tottenham have made a club record bid for Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero.
It was reported that Spurs' bid had reached the £38.5 million buy-out clause in Aguero's contract but tax rules halted the move going through.
The striker, whose nickname is `Kun', has been prolific throughout his time in the Spanish capital and has 13 goals to his name so far this term.
But Redknapp expects to do little business on Monday and denied reports he had made a bid for Aguero.
"Sergio Aguero? No. I don't know anything at all about that one," Redknapp told Sky Sports News.
"It would surprise us all if that happened. I don't think there is anything in that one at all. I don't think you'll be seeing a lot of action. It'll all be happening elsewhere."
