After only featuring for the last 20 minutes in two of Tottenham’s past three games in the Premiership, Reid played the full 90 in the 2-1 win away at West Ham reserves. The winger was also in action for the Republic of Ireland in Dublin last week.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Head Coach Martin Jol has sung the praises of Mido, another of Tottenham’s January signings, albeit on loan.
"I like his mentality during games. Even when he's losing headers or losing possession because of a bad touch his mentality remains 100% - He is 22 years of age but everyone thinks he's 28 or something like that."
Mido scored his first Tottenham goal from a header after Jermaine Jenas supplied the important cross to the Egyptian against Everton at the weekend.
Jol added: "He is important for us because he’s involved in 50% of our goals with assists and if he gets crosses, you will all see he's one of the best in Europe because he's a very good finisher with his head. He just hasn't had that many crosses this season but we're working on that."
