"I had a chat on the phone with Buryak and asked him not to call me to the team," Rebrov told Hromads'ke Radio in Ukraine.
"I would not like to play in the national team until I'll find the team where I'll demonstrate the same level of playing as before my transfer to Tottenham."
Rebrov, who has not made a single appearance this season, has been transfer listed by Spurs according to his agent, although director of football at White Hart Lane David Pleat has denied that Spurs have transfer-listed the player.
