Newspaper reports over the weekend had suggested that Spurs could try to tempt Pompey to part with the England international keeper by offering Carlo Cudicini in a part exchange deal but Pompey chief executive has dismissed this.
"It's a load of rubbish, it really is," he told The News.
"David is under contract and it will be staying that way. He's happy and we are happy.
"David's going absolutely nowhere.
"We don't need to sell him and we have no interest in doing so. People should ignore these rumours, that's all they are."
