Pleat laughs off Keane story

As expected, David Pleat has moved swiftly to deny the story in today's papers that Fulham are set to make a £7m move for Robbie Keane. Pleat stated that "Our quality players are going nowhere, any approaches will be rejected. We are trying to build a team for the long term future of the Club for which
Robbie Keane plays an important part." No Spurs could have seriously believed the story, although Clive Allen's comment on last night's 'Monday Night Premiership' that 'every player has a price' did raise some eyebrows... but Pleat has now put the record straight.
