The Egyptian striker sparked a dressing-room row with Robbo as Spurs trailed 2-1 at the Riverside on Sunday, reported The Sun.
Mido said: "You only have to look at the reaction to see what kind of spirit we have. Robbo came out second half and he was the best player on the pitch, and I came back and scored the (third) goal and was fighting for every ball. This is the kind of spirit which will let you win games and go places."
He added: "We have a great spirit and we fight for each other, and it is not easy to beat us. I think not so many teams have the same team spirit that we have. I am very proud of that."
Manager Martin Jol agreed: "(This season) we have a better mentality, a winning mentality. Last season we did well with 52 points but we needed players like Teemu Tainio, Paul Stalteri, Edgar Davids and Young-Pyo Lee - all winners."
"We changed the back four as well and then we have Paul Robinson in goal, a great goalkeeper. I think we are getting better and better."
