Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday Pleat said: "I'm sure there'll be a lot of interest and plenty of debate and discussion.

"But I don't think anything should be read into any person talking about the job or suggesting they're interested in the job because I can tell you there have been no discussions about the job as yet."
