The club launched three new kits for the 2008/09 season this evening. The shirts can be viewed here.
The new home strip sees us drop the all-white design in favour of a v-necked shirt with navy blue trim on the sleeves, neck and under arms. The words 'Casino & Poker' have been added underneath the Mansion logo, a feature that is bound to cause controversy among those in the game who feel that gambling sponsorship be banned, particularly in the light of revelations by a national newspaper that a player being treated for gambling addiction has admitted to throwing a match in England.
Jemaine Jenas, Johnathon Woodgate and Robbie Keane donned the new kits with the absence of Dimitar Berbatov fuelling yet more speculation that the Bulgarian is unlikely to be a Spurs player when the kit sees competitive action for the first time.
The new home kit is on sale from tonight and the away strip is going on sale on July 18. The third kit will be available from 6 August. The club has also produced a large amount of new training wear.
