King was substituted 52 minutes into Spurs' 3-0 win at The DW Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
"Ledley looks like he's torn a muscle," Spurs boss Harry Redknapp told Sky Sports after the game.
"That's the problem. He's such a fantastic player, it shouldn't be too long."
