Jermaine Jenas and Danny Murphy know all about the club's next opponents Liverpool, in the lunctime kick-off tomorrow.

Former red, now at Tottenham, Murphy said: "Anfield is somewhere I've had many good times.”

"There has been a lot of players out and a lot of players in (during the summer).”

“But Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Sami Hyypia and John Arne Riise have been wonderful servants. We've got our own players like that, Ledley King and Robbie Keane.”

Jenas played with Craig Bellamy at Newcastle. The Welsh striker enjoyed a spell at Blackburn before he joined Liverpool. JJ said: "I used to play with him from midfield and he was a delight to play alongside. In one of my first games he told me if I was ever in trouble just to stick the ball down the channel and he would chase it. Most of the time he got there as well because he is that quick.”

Spurs and Liverpool occupied third and fourth place in the league respectively the last time the two sides met at Anfield at the beginning of the year.

Jenas added: “Last season we could have nicked a win there as we had a few chances in the second half and a lot of possession.”

Assistant coach Chris Hughton said: “We played well there last season and only lost to a wonderful goal from Harry Kewell, but from the time up to the goal going in and afterwards, we deserved a draw.”

“We have got some sort of continuity with players who have played a few games this season.”
