The 22-year-old striker is halfway through the current arrangement between Spurs and the Italian Serie A club.
Mido has only made 10 starts in nine months at White Hart Lane and is currently out with a hamstring injury picked up at the Valley on Saturday.
According to the Daily Mirror the Egyptian could be missing for a month with the latest injury, but The Times reckon he could be fit to face Everton in 10 days time.
"He looked very good in pre-season and I think we are trying to get him on a permanent basis," confirmed the Spurs Head Coach.
