Aaron Lennon has spoken about the injury he picked up 11 days ago in training. It was a blow particularly on the eve of Tottenham's trip to Manchester United in the Premiership.
He has missed two further games since then including the club's return to European action last week, and has needed to undergo surgery to repair his damaged knee.
The winger said: "I tried to do a sharp turn and felt a pain in the side of my knee. I didn't think much of it but the physio said to go and have a scan and it showed a little tear in the side of my cartilage."
"I didn't like watching the games against Manchester United, Slavia Prague and Fulham."
