King, who scored in Spurs' 3-1 defeat at Manchester United on Saturday, has a strict training regime because of ongoing knee problems but Redknapp believes that with the way the World Cup games are scheduled he could be included in Fabio Capello's squad.
"They'd need to take advice from our medical staff because if you didn't you would break him," said Redknapp.
"He can play every six days and there are six days between World Cup games."
