King out of England get-together

The Spurs centre-back is suffering from a stomach bug and has been replaced in the squad by young Nottingham Forest defender Michael Dawson.

King had only been called up as a late replacement on Sunday night due to the withdrawals of Rio Ferdinand and Jonathan Woodgate.

He has a bout of gastroenteritisis but is expected to be ok for Spurs next game against Leeds at the Lane on Sunday.
