"I know Tottenham have contacted my agent about a transfer," Kanoute told the Evening Standard.
"At this stage it is more important for the two clubs to agree financial terms before I can say whether I would join Spurs or not. "But if they can sort out the finances, I would definitely consider the move. I have not asked to leave West Ham but, if Spurs are serious, I would listen."
