Freddie Kanoute has admitted that he is well on the road to recovering from the ankle ligament damage he suffered in October. He said, 'Things aren't too bad... I started running a few days ago and now I'm looking to accelerate'. He then stated, 'If I could play on one leg I would, but I can't!'. With the rich vein of form he was in, Kanoute could probably grab a few goals, even on one leg. He is expected to be back for the Christmas period.
