Jenas shows his true worth

Martin Jol has heaped praise on the contribution by Jermaine Jenas so far this season.

The England midfielder has scored two goals, and while some of the new faces in the Tottenham midfield have taken time to bed in, Jenas has even filled in for injured Aaron Lennon on the right wing.

Jol said: “JJ had one of his best games against Fulham. He never played hide and seek, he was there, and he got his crosses in.”

“He was also very good against Slavia Prague and he's taken responsibility.”

“He's done well, he's scored goals and played like an experienced player.”
