Spurs Head coach said: "It was a terrific goal from Jermaine Jenas, his second goal in two games so that's exactly what we want from our midfield players."
Tottenham Skipper Ledley King also shared some of his own thoughts about his teammate Jenas.
"I've obviously trained with him quite a bit before and realised he was a good player then. He is only going to get better for us. What has surprised me is that he is quicker than I thought he was. He is a young lad in a new team but since he has come in we have done well as a team and things are looking good," he said.
As well as scoring two of Tottenham’s last three goals, Jenas also set up Mido’s headed effort in the 2-0 home win over Everton last week.
The Egyptian striker pipped in: "I believe my main quality is scoring goals from the flanks. It was a quality cross from Jermaine and I was very happy to score with my head. I have scored 78 goals in my career and 45 of them have been with my head, but I haven't had too many crosses from the flanks since I have played for Tottenham."
