Izzet an apology...

Leicester midfielder Muzzy Izzet has finally spoken out since his tackle that left Freddie Kanoute sidelined for two months. The Turkish international was seen to rake his studs down Kanoute's ankle after the striker had beaten him for skill. The challenge, while borne out of frustration, was completely un-called for and the recent apology from Izzet has proved just that. He said' I am sorry he is hurt. I never meant to hurt him. I am not that sort of player'. Izzet went on to add that he wished Kanoute 'a speedy recovery'.
