Ian Wright. He was the best goalscorer, the best finisher. Everyone knows he's a legend for what he did at Arsenal, but to do it in such a short space of time and play for your country after coming to the game late, that's special.
What would you be if you weren't a sportsman?
I think I'd have done something constructive because my mum, Sandra, was strict with me. I used to dance when I was young, street dancing. I've been on a float at Notting Hill Carnival!
Which other spor tsman would you like to be?
I love boxing. Maybe Floyd Mayweather Jnr. His passion and his dedication to the sport is so impressive.
Career highlight?
Maybe my first World Cup (last year). To actually play and score (against Slovenia) was like a dream come true.
... and the worst moment?
Injuries are hard to take. Getting relegated with West Ham would be one, because I was young. Then missing out on the World Cup (in 2006). Although now I can see it happened for a reason.
If your house was burning down, what one possession would you save?
Probably my little dogs, Ronnie and Reggie.
What's the best advice you 've ever been given?
My mum always tells me to work hard and live my life properly, and to keep going if I am disappointed.
Favourite karaoke song?
Probably some Bob Marley. No Woman No Cry, that's a tune.
Three most-listened to songs on your ipod?
Jagged Edge, Tonight. Drake, Lust for Life, is always loud in the car on a match day. Then some reggae or old school garage.
Last film you saw?
127 Hours. Wow. I watched that on the plane to Dubai. It's crazy.
Last book you read?
Psalm 91 out of the Bible. Powerful.
Favourite pre-match meal?
Chicken and pasta. Sometimes scrambled egg and baked beans.
Can you cook? Best dish ?
I can make a basic pasta and salmon dish with a bit of lemon, black pepper and olive oil, but I'm no Ainsley Harriott!
Your favourite holiday destination?
St Lucia. We went in the summer to do charity work with children, but it's also the ideal place just to relax on the beach.
In a film of your life, who would YOU like to play you ?
Denzel Washington (right). He's the best. I don't think he'd be able to play me, but he could try.
What's the most expensive thing you've ever bought?
I've bought cars, but the thing I'm most proud of is that I bought my mum a house.
Tell us a secret...
I'm scared of spiders. Really bad. I get all shivery.
