It's going to be physical

It will be very interesting to see the midfield Martin Jol selects tomorrow at Brammal Lane because for the first time in a long while, every one is going to be available.

I think it's a safe bet that Tom Huddlestone won't be starting this one. Also expect to find Aaron Lennon on the bench after missing the start of the week with a stomach bug. Steed Malbranque could be the only survivor from Sunday with Teemu Tainio and Jermaine Jenas both likely to start, in place of Didier Zokora and Huddlestone, both just back from international duty.

Jol will be looking for Tainio and Jenas to come straight back into the team, and get stuck in and win the ball in the centre of the park.

Jol said: "Sheffield United are a very good side that battle. They have had some decent results at home and are recognised as a strong team there, so it will be difficult."

Tainio said: "They are a hard team to beat because they play with a big heart and fight for every ball."

Chris Hughton said: "Defensively, Chris Lucketti has been around for a while and is back in the frame alongside Phil Jagielka, who can play at the back or in midfield, a big part of their squad. Derek Geary is a right full-back, Chris Armstrong is the other side.

"Derek Geary has done well not just this season, but last season as well and Chris Armstrong played left midfield against us at the Lane in August. Michael Tonge, who has played wide left for the baulk of his career has moved inside. Nick Montgomery is in the centre of the park. Alan Quinn is also in there. Colin Kazim-Richards scored a great goal against Bolton earlier in the season. He is out wide and has pace."

"Up front Rob Hulse is a real handful. Jon Stead has come in from Derby and scored a couple of goals already. He has had a little dip over the last couple of seasons but and has certainly started well and is aiming to get back to where he was. These are two good players. With the way they play, they rely a lot on the front two, demand a lot of movement up front and work off that. Perhaps that's why they've used a lot of forwards in recent seasons."

England duo Paul Robinson and Michael Dawson could have their work cut out if the Blades settle into their game. Hopefully those deployed immediately in front of them will be alert and won't contribute to it becoming another difficult away fixture in the ilk of this season's defeats at Bolton and Reading.

Dawson said: "After playing against Arsenal and Manchester United in the last week, this will be a different test.

"They look to get the ball forward quickly and have two big lads up front. They will be up for the battle and we've got to be ready for it."
