Injuries update

Teemu Tainio has undergone a hernia operation.

Spurs boss Martin Jol said: "It's a blow for Teemu. He had the operation on Thursday."

Meanwhile, Michael Dawson has returned to training after taking a serious blow to the head in the victory over Portsmouth last weekend.

The Spurs and England centre-back said: “I remember little bits. I remember Keano coming over and telling the referee that my eyes were rolling around, I remember being in the changing room and people have told me things I can remember whereas others have told me things I've no idea about!"

"I've had a few head injuries before, we were defending that lead and luckily for me the ball didn't go into the back of the net. To get knocked out and have them equalise at the same time would have been a sickener!”
