The 24-year-old frontman scored 23 goals in 26 league games last season.
Any speculation about a summer switch was killed off when Hulk signed a contract extension in May, committing himself to the Portuguese club until 2016.
It is thought that new deal features a buy-out clause of around €100million (?87million).
Yet the former Japan-based forward hinted he would be open to a move in the next couple of years if the right offer came along.
"Before I came on holiday I extended my contract with FC Porto by two years but if there is a good opportunity for me and for the club, a transfer could take place," he told Radio Jovem Pan while back in his homeland during the close-season. "I have no choice about which league I'd like to play in.
"Right now I'm in Portugal and already with a big club.
"But if I go to Spain, Italy, England or Germany I would be happy too."
Hulk has made three international appearances for Brazil but is not in their squad for next month's Copa America.
