Assistant Coach Chris Hughton fears the return of Harry Redknapp from Southampton will give Pompey an injection of enthusiasm, reported The Daily Mirror.
Hughton said: "We're all aware when a new manager comes into a club that players are playing for places and looking to impress, so perhaps he’ll make a couple of changes. Up front they've got Lua Lua who on his day is one of the best around and most different around, you are never quite sure what you are going to get from him. He's a very, very exciting talent on his day. If Laurent Robert plays he's a real talent and you have to be mindful of free-kicks. Regardless, Harry's a bubbly character and he'll get them playing. I would expect a response from the team. From that point of view it's something we could have done without."
