England midfielder Huddlestone returned to full training on Friday, having been sidelined since undergoing ankle surgery in November. And Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is confident the 24-year-old, virtually an ever-present this season until injury struck, would be in contention for the April 2 clash at the DW Stadium.
"Tom's a fantastic footballer and it's great to have him back training," Redknapp told his club's official website, www.tottenhamhotspur.com. "We've two weeks now where we can really work with him and hopefully get him ready for the next game."
He added: "There is no reason why he shouldn't make that with a fortnight's training."
Huddlestone's absence has seen summer signing Sandro stake his claim for the holding midfield spot, while he will also face competition from the likes of Luka Modric, Jermaine Jenas and Wilson Palacios.
Redknapp added: "Yes, Sandro has done well and we've JJ, Wilson.
"They are all good players and Tom is another good player, so it's good to have him back."
