Brazil international Gomes arrived in north London in 2008 in a £7.8 million transfer from Dutch team PSV Eindhoven and played a key role in Tottenham's run to the Champions League quarter-finals three years later.
However, he gradually lost form and made the last of his 135 Tottenham appearances in November 2011, losing his place to Brad Friedel and then Hugh Lloris.
Gomes spent the second half of last season on loan at German side Hoffenheim, making nine Bundesliga appearances, but the 33-year-old spent this term as third choice behind Lloris and Friedel.
A statement on Tottenham's official website said: "Heurelho Gomes is to leave the club at the conclusion of his contract next month and we would like to wish the popular goalkeeper all the best for the future."
